Several by-elections to fill vacancies on Parish and Town Councils have arisen in the Suffolk Coastal CLP area since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. These by-elections have been deferred until Thursday 6 May 2021, the same day as Suffolk County Council elections.

The Government has now confirmed that local elections will go ahead as planned on the 6 May 2021. To ensure that you can vote as safely as possible, the Labour Party strongly urges you to apply for a postal vote.

  • Nacton Parish Council by-election
  • Southwold Town Council by-election (two seats)
  • Woodbridge Town Council – Riverside Parish Ward by-election
  • Woodbridge Town Council – Seckford Parish Ward by-election

No Labour candidates are standing in these by-elections.
