Several by-elections to fill vacancies on Parish and Town Councils have arisen in the Suffolk Coastal CLP area since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. These by-elections are currently deferred until Thursday 6 May 2021, the same day as Suffolk County Council elections.

Current advice from the Government is there is a “strong expectation” that local elections will go ahead as planned on the 6 May 2021, but this may be subject to change depending on circumstances. To ensure that you can vote as safely as possible, the Labour Party strongly urges you to apply for a postal vote.
